About Us
Mass Media Works was founded by Gerry Landy and Rene G. Gagnon in the fall of 2004. Our company was formed out of an amalgam of talents. Rene Gagnon is trained in Illustration, Graphic Design, and Web Development. He holds a BFA in Visual Communication w/ a concentration in Illustration from Mass. College of Art in Boston and is a high school and college teacher of computer graphics in his hometown of Fall River, MA. Gerry Landy is trained in filmmaking and photography. He holds a BFA in Media Arts w/ a concentration in Film and a minor in Photography from Emerson College in Boston. He is currently the head of sales and marketing at Twin City Electric and Alarm Corp. located in his hometown of Fall River, MA. Together they offer a wide range of media services. MMW supplies all aspects of media production, but also we're committed to a full spectrum of marketing & advertising possibilities for your business. From start to finish we can service all of your companies marketing & advertising needs, including print, radio, television, as well as web site development. In addition we will research your specific market to find the best and most effective way to reach your niche clientele. Our belief is no one should be left behind when it comes to promoting small business. As co-owner and head of the advertising and marketing division, Gerry Landy brings to the table vital elements necessary to run a successful media business. Trained in Film and Photography at Emerson College, Gerry displays versatility and a proven track record within the industry. Although a student of art, film, and photography Gerald has a knack for advertising & marketing products, which makes his contribution unique. He is currently the Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Twin City Electric & Alarms in Fall River, MA, where he is is handling advertising, sales, and marketing. His ability to be creative in both his art and business marketing makes his skills invaluable. He has written and produced many television commercials for local politicians, non-profit groups, and businesses. Television and advertising aren't his only passion though. Documentaries, short films, and filmmaking in general are the true passions of this artist. Having either worked as the cinematographer, producer, editor, writer, grip, or all of the above - Gerry has the know how and experience to bring MMW to the forefront of media services.
Rene Gagnon • Creative Art Director

As co-owner and art director, fine artist & designer Rene G. Gagnon serves as the organizational back bone and lead designer for a team of young, dynamic, and dedicated web and graphic design professionals. After earning his BFA in Visual Communication from Massachusetts College of Art, Rene put his talents to use and practiced successfully as a freelance illustrator for a number of years. His efforts in the field earned him many accolades including a "Telly Award" in 2000 for "Outstanding Illustration for Video". Rene also brings proven leadership skills to MMW. Through years of teaching at the high school and collegiate level, in the field of computer graphics, Rene has honed his skills in running a well organized and proficient group of design oriented individuals. Besides teaching, Rene's ability to "create" will prove to be an integral component to the successes MMW will achieve. His eclectic range of experience covers a gamut of visual media and art making that include; web & graphic design, animation, 3D modeling, illustration, fine art painting, and mural creation. Rene's thirst for innovative multimedia projects that showcase his creative ability and his attention to detail are the leading factors surrounding his success.
Mark Carvalho • Artist / Designer

As fine artist and graphic designer, Mark Carvalho brings a unique twist to our graphics and fine art portfolio. Classically trained with a BFA from Bridgewater State College, Mark has proven himself in a broad range of media. His fine art training lends a fresh outlook to MMW, and strengthens all aspects of our design team. Mark's specialty of large scale murals and paintings give our clients the opportunity to embark on whatever visions are in mind. Mark also lends leadership skills to MMW through his proven track record as a professional educator, and coach. Mark exhibits a strong portfolio in all aspects of art and design. His range of skills and abilities will satisfy any need of our clientele and go far beyond their expectations.
